There's a New Plushie in Town
Even though Naught for Hire has yet to be made, there is fan made merchandise hitting the fan circuit.
First there were postcards and business cards created by us, The Agency. Next same some homemade Nick Naught action figures and now there is the Nick Naught plushie.
The plushie is the idea of the ever creative Ben Browder fan Sprite Lady. While we are referring to it as merchandise, this item can not be found for sale (drat!).

Roll Your Own Nick Naught Action Figure
Have you seen the Nick Naught action figures on Facebook?
Do you want one too?
Well for now, you'll have to roll your own like the brilliant fans here did.
The figures showing up on Facebook are amalgams of at least two existing action figures: Stargate's Colonel Cameron Mitchell 12" action figure and The Spirit 12" action figure. You can buy both of these from Amazon.com.
Hey! What's The Spirit got that Mitchell doesn't? A black trenchcoat for one thing and a fedora for another. You'll need those for authenticity.
The Spirit's black pants are painted on. How do I get them onto Mitchell?
Well, obviously you can't so off to ebay you go. While you are at it, pick up a suit and tie and button-up shirt if you're going for realism. We found one vendor on ebay who sells a whole suit, shirt, tie and shoes combo for about what you'd pay for each action figure. Yeah, these things aren't cheap to make.
Who's got the gun? Neither one has a handgun so you'll have to go scrounging for one on ebay. There are lots of good action figure weapons dealers on ebay.
Shoes? Well, if you get long enough black pants they will cover the army boots that Mitchell is wearing. Looking for regular dress shoes? ebay.
